    Fitting A 66V in a 99' XL

Can A 66V motor fit in the 98' XL hull the same hull Yamaha use for the 700 I am talking about?

I think there might be an issue with the exhaust but can a 65U manifold bolt up to to the 66V cylinders?

No a 65U manifold will not fit a 66V, the spacing between cylinders is different.

Do you mean 98 XL, because the 99XLL came with a 66v and the 98 the 65u...

The 99' XLL came with the 66V an the 98' XL came with the 65U, same as your GP. The problem I have with putting the 66V in the 98' XL is the Exhaust is too big so in order to make it fit I will have to cut the Hull maybe that will be my next project.

Gotcha for some reason I was thinking the 98 and 99 hulls were the same when there not.
The 66V motor would fit in the GP but its exhaust wouldn't.I remember riding a 98 XL years ago it was a great ski
Have you considered a SC 1500cc 4tec thats what I would like to fit into my GP

Ok, I was thinking about the 4tec as I have one sitting on my work bench but I have the 66V ready to drop in. The 4tec would too much work and too much time to finish the project.

I would like to have 200+ hp in my old school GP a 4tec would get me there,my only problem is that I dont have a donor RXP to get all the See Doo components and motor from.I do plan on doing it when I can come up with $3000 or so to get started. That 98 XL cut through the chop realy well I assume your offshore with it.
