Paint ideas for solo seat for RXP

I bought a solo seat cowl for my RXP and plan on painting it. What to do you think will look better

    white with red insert

    or

    red with white insert.

Well. You could paint the main part of it red and leave where the numbers would go white. That way it would kind of blend in with your factory seat.

Yeah. The white would look good as the dominate color with that seat cover. It would kind of fade into the white stripe on the seat cover.

You will have to see where your seat cowel fits on the new seat cover. I put an M-Line cover on mine and when I put the number cowel on it, it sat in such a way that I had a colour show that made the whole thing like crap. I have since painted my number cowel all black.

Good point do you have a pic? I know the cowl will cover the red on the OEM cover, Anyone have a riva cover with a cowl on? will it cover up all the red?

Here are a couple of pics. I had some white showing that looked like crap so I had to glue a piece of black over it. I don't know if these pictures show it very well. You can see in the bottom pic that I covered up the stray white piece and painted the white on the cowel black.

Are you sold on that seat? The only reason I ask is that when I dealt with the guy from M-Line it was unbelievable. He actually sent me about 30 sample pieces of material and when he made my seat I ask him for enough material to cover my chin pad and he didn't even charge me for it. God knows with the weather you have lots of time to do this. I am sold on M-Line and and you can design your own cover.

I guess the new RXP's don't come with that cover anymore Mines been in the attic since the first day I rode with it on If you ride in anything rough... it will destroy your bunghole Also... if you ride standing up and try to position your feet towards the rear of the ski, you will not enjoy riding with it! However... last, and most importantly... chicks don't enjoy riding on that damn thing when you pick them up out on the water
