    Look what I found!

It's a Hurricane!!! Are these things worth fixing up? What are they worth? If I don't get the SLT, I may have to look at this one.

Not a top speed machine, but apparently they corner very tight, and are a blast for playing around on.

Worth depends on what shape it is in, of course, and how badly the seller wants it gone

Single person size, and typically the ride plate needs to be extended (custom welded) to reduce porpoising. Otherwise, it is standard Polaris domestic twin engine and jet pump.

Search for some of the older Hurricane threads - lots of good info

From what I've read, they're not a real stable ski. That's what makes them great for aggressive bouy racing.

Wetwolf.com LOVES his Hurricane, and Polarisnut#1 has one as well.

Could prob get some good info from them.

Personally, not thinking the wife would like this one. You never know though...

Oh this one wouldn't be for the wife.... I would have to get her a SLT, she is determined that a 3 seater is what she wants. She wants to be able to pull a tube and such. A Hurricane would have to be for me. It would depend on the price I am able to get it for and what condition the motor is in.

Looks like it would be a great project, for the RIGHT price I would pick that one up. They are harder to find so they are sort of rare as far as ski's can get. I think beerdart has one too

If it was an Octane, I would already have it! That would be a sweet ski to find.
