"Julie's Ski" SL650
Here are some pics of the ski that I am picking up for my wife. It's going to be a 2 day road trip because I hate driving for 12 hours in a single day. Its a 600+ mile round trip. We will head on up to Edmonton on Friday, stay overnight, then pick up the ski on Saturday and return home. That way I won't have to go puke in a ditch as soon as I get there, right Bowsniper? I will take the camera with us and grab some more pics of the adventure. What better way to start a fresh project build thread.

Yeah, you don't want to look like this after 12 hours driving. Drive safe and enjoy the ride! It;s a first memory of your new ski! CONGRATS!

Sounds like a fun adventure! What will it take to get that ski going again? I wish my wife was into jetskiing as much as me

Sounds to me like it has holed a piston. Shouldn't take too much since I have a whole 650 top end sitting here ready to go!
Well, the truck is ready to go, the hotel is booked in Edmonton, all the other things are arranged. We leave tomorrow morning for one of these amazing Polaris Retrieval Road Trips!!!

Woohoo! Road trip. YOUR TURN!!! lol Don't puke when ya meet the guy! Bring blankets and stuff just in case you get stranded, and tools for the trailer to change a tire, check air pressures. any spare for the trailer? make sure you have a jack and the right tools for the tire to come off.
I brought a jack to NC with me. Good thing I didn't need it>>>it didn't work! I used it to change a tire when I got home and found out the piston was bad in it. i would of been in deep trouble if I had gotten a flat!.
See ya when ya get back!. On the way back, keep looking at the ski as you drive home, it will put a smile on your face. Mine did!.
It's going to be a great summer!
That ski needs a snuggle on it! lol looks cold.
