TBM Kaw 15F/Ultra Vortec Supercharger Poly Chain Carbon Belt Kit

    Price: $500.00

Ask a question about this product This is an absolute must have for any racer that currently owns a Vortec supercharged Kawasaki Jet Ski. Our racing development with our 400 horsepower Ultra 260X was eating up rubber belts in a single moto which forced us to design something better. What we came up with is a belt kit that will last 200+ laps without a failure. No more frantic race day belt changes or DNF’s due to a belt failure. This kit will adapt to your Riva supercharger bracket or our bracket kit that is available by special order. The larger diameter pulley tensions from the inside out creating less friction and drag on the belt and prevents back-bending which is a killer on any belt. We also constructed the stand off from stainless steel with a unique T-nut that fully inserts into the adjusting slot to prevent side loading and mis-alignment. The kit comes complete with the belt, idler pulley, standoff, T-nut and hardware.

Im having a bit of trouble with mine. I think I can engineer myself around the issue Im having.

Call TBM, they dropped the Vortec pulley kit program.

You might be able to make it work by getting with Vortec and ordering a larger tensioner. You then will want to run that Carbon belt on the outside of the tensioner making the tensioner push out to get belt tension.

Sounds odd but before clowns jump me, thats how the Carbon kit required you do it.

pete spend the coin on a htrim and some decent pullies dude before some homo belt kit
put some boost into that lazy comped engine

You so mean. True though get a H trim.

To tune it just change top pulley.

Small for H-boost and bigger for G-boost.

brad, I will see what she's like when les has finished with her...

still liked the feel of the turbo, may still want to go this route

may have to talk to ricky and see what else he has left, or find a 250 motor

I would love to see a type of cog belt and pulley kit come out aftermarket.Something like what they use on automobile superchargers. Belt slippage would be a thing of the past!
