There is no gain in running the free flow exhaust, besides cleaning up some more room in the ski for a aftermarket IC, the only other advantage is the sound, It does make the ski sound alot meaner, u will pick up a lot of radiant noise around 3000 to 4000 rpm and some dont like but it sounds bad ass.

    No...it's not worth the money.

No...it doesn't increase top or bottom performance.

    Like JohnnyRXT said....more space...more noise.

I made my own for $4.

I agree with VA I made my own as well just some polished stainless steel exhaust pipe from the local exhaust shop and a slight bend for 12 bucks.

Be sure to get the ends flared so that sucker cant pop off.. I got my local muffler shop to make me one up, saved a bit over the riva one..

sorry to kind of hijack your thead, I didn't want to start a whole new thread just for one question.

is it possible to reduce this 3-4000 rpm noise?
i may want to doing some cruising with my ski and would hate to have to sit at those rpms

It resonates in the pump tunnel since the exhaust exits into there, so I don't think there is really anything you can do. If you are going to spend anymore money to lower the noise at those RPM's, you might as well go thru hull.

I had a few of these made a while back. Only plus is the extra space and mean sound.

If u could get some kinda 90* outlet in the tunnel area so it was aiming at the back of the ski it would fix this issue but i dont think its possible.
