Arrow High Intensity Discharge headlamp retrofits

I am investigating upgrading my stock car headlamps to high intensity discharge Xenon type bulbs. The stock headlamps use H11 low beam and H9 high beam bulbs.

It is unclear to me whether there is a reputable kit that will simply plug and play in this application.

What can you tell me about these things?

    Glare issues?
    Reliability?

    Online sources?
    Brand preferences?

    Cost?

You get what you pay for with HID kits.

    Pointers
Make sure they use high quality Ballast
Make sure that the terminal are weather proof
Get one that uses a relay system where you are getting a fuel 12/14.4 volts from the battery and not relying on the power of the stock headlight harness
Make sure they are using quality HID bulbs
Get a kit with a lengthy warrenty

Do not use a kit where they want you to use spade terminals, which you insert into the stock harnesses, they suck and never work right.

Just my info from experience with a shitty HID kit

I found the german kits last the longest.. I have them in all my vehicles now and light output is 100 times better than factory... I had to angle my lights down though because I was blinding everyone.. I have had them in for 2 yrs now and had no bulb issues yet
