    This motor is in good condition and ran before it had electrical issues. Will also include the flywheel and stator!

    is this the same cases and cylinder as an octane? if so im interested.

    The case can be used in the octane, but you have to add pulser fittings. I am running a DI case in my Octane right now, just added two pulsers. The cylinders are also the same.

    the cylinders are different in that they have lower port timing than the 1017 cylinders. So they will not perform the same as the octane motor.

    I'm confused Polaris list the Octane and all other 700-777 and 1200's using the 1017
    I found this on Polaris IND. site

    Ok on Babbits they show this 800 with a 1286 84 mm
    and the Octane with just the normal 1200 cylinder 1017
    Dam polaris Ind.
