    gp1300r d plate

    hi just want to know were to put the chip for the sensor as ive looked and looked and cant find a diagram any where please help

    its gets spliced into the wiring for the temp sensor that goes into the exhaust, right next to it....its like up where the battery box is at the back of the ski on the right hand side if nyour looking at the back of the ski

    let me see if i can locate a thread for you on it as i know there are a few .

    What year ski? The chips have problems with some of the newer ski's we use a 2.2k ohm 1/2 watt resistor. I have had my oem sensor plugged in for a long time with no issues.

    its 2006 black and gold i was told it just pluged in on harness no wires needed to be cut????

    most of the time yours will work with out a resistor... just plug the factory sensor back in and ride it to see if the buzzer goes off

    if it does go off you will have to wire in a resistor
