    help with cam removal?? rxpx

    may be a poor question but how do you get the plastic cover/thingy off the front of the cam on rxpx?? does it just pull out?...anybody

    Why do you need it off. You can remove the whole gear with that attached and then remove the cap once out of the motor pretty easy. It can't be removed in the motor due to the Cam positioning pin.

    of course...just didn't look close enough...but I will take the rockershaft off first and mark everything for timing to try and keep it consistant...should be good...
    I am installing ported head with ferarr(spelling) valves with the riva upgrade spring kit...into an rxpx
