East LA? Hey, give Cheech Marin a call, he was born there

Sweet find. For $400 you gotta check out this one. If it has all the parts there and the title is clean, I'd snag that one.

    Help!!

Hi guys. The current owner is going to call at 6:00 pm and I'm going to ask him to take pix of eng. compartment for me. If no pix??
Anyways, this ski should have triples correct? What about carbs and?? What do I need to look for to make sure this is a worthy purchase?
Title to ski is a must in my book.
    Thanks for the help.

For that price, you could make some $$ parting it out. Even if the motor is broken, you still have things like CDI, flywheel, stator, triple pipes, mounts, carbs, reeds, manifold, f/a, and the list goes on....

Rod, take another battery with you and try to crank it over.

If it won't crank over, see if you can remove the head.

If it's got crank or cyl problems, it's going to be a costly repair.

At $400 or BEST OFFER...... (try $300)

You almost can't lose. Title or not (title in hand WOULD be better)

If the MFD works, there's a good demand for it.

The CDI is highly sought after

44mm carbs go for a good price

Trim motor would make a good buck

Elec stator would be good if it's within specs

    Flywheel may be sought after

    Engine cases good $$

A good cyl or 2 would be worth a few bucks

Jet pump would be a few bucks

    Intake grate would sell quick

Plus any little goodies they may have addd would be nice.

You just need to have some time to part it out if you go this route.

I say go for it, as long as the engine/pump doesn't look beat.

PS: take a friend with you, and your other 2 buddy's just in case it's not a great area.

You know, Mr Smith & Mr. Wesson?????
