    95 waveventure engine swap

    I have a 1995 700 waveventure and i have a 1996 1100 waveventure that is wrecked will the motor and pump in the 1100 swap into the 700 hull with out a lot of modifacation or does anybody have a 1100 hull with no motor would like to really have a nother hull to swap the 1100 motor into so i will still have all 3 waveventures any help is appreciated thanks

    mpeavler has a very nice Raider with a 1200 in it he is looking for a 97-99 GP1200 hull to drop his motor in.
    If I was looking for a Raider hull I would look into buying his hull.
    I would also want to put a 1200 top end and electric's in it Mikes ski has 1200 electrics in it aready.Its not hard to turn a1100 into a 1200

    i have a nice 96 venture 1100 hull here, bare for 100.00 i am in southern WI, a little more than an hour north of chicago.

    To answer your first question, swapping the motor and pump should be simple. Yamaha only made one hull. If you look in the engine compartment you will see a place for bolth mounts. The pumps use the same holes. I am converting my 700 to an 1100 pump.

    This also would be a good way to go. Looks like a good hull
