i have doen 2 so far it takes a couple of hours..
it ia a pain to get in and cut the stuff out...
my 07 i just swiss cheesed the wall it flowed well and sounded good ..not harsh somwher ebetween a sport bike and a power boat..it is for sale in the classifieds..it went over 80 ....
i completely removed the wall in the x box ..and welded a elbow in and slash cut it ..so it flows well ..it sonds mean but is almost to loud ....didnt see any gains ..the restricton is at the manifold at that point...the water boxes out flow it ..
i also dont reccomen that you completely cut the exit pipe off flush ..it lets the box fill with ater ..and you need to blow it out when you take off...just slash cut it up fro m the bottom a bit ..

Its in the HOW TO section...AIRFLOW page...EXHAUST...08 MODIFIED
Depending on your relationship with a local shop, and how clean you do the cuts, about an hour of shop time...

no i didnt have the camera at the shop that night ...
in my x box i just took a elbow and slash cut it ...so the opening was big..faced it to the rear of the box ...then welded it to the stock one ..figured it was curved ..and kinda caught the exhaust..and ramped it out...
on the 07 i just cut the exisiting outlet at a 45 about 3/4 from the bottom of the box... that box sounds good...
