    zapatas new V8 engine...(insane)

    http://www.funjetmagazine.com/videos.php

The first jet V8 to Karujet

Joined manufacturer, Champion Franky Zapata has just released its new hull molds for the last three places, which may well make some noise at all levels. This exceptional machine based on a shell slightly longer than that of RXT and a V (like those of charismatic Cigarette Offshore One), will include a V8. It is actually two 4 cylinder engines Suzuki 1300 cc Suzuki Hayabusa, coupled V. Designed originally by the Hatley company in 2002 for a surmotoriser Caterham (genus Lotus Seven), this concept has been emulated by its power to weight ratio and amazing especially for its ability to surmotorisation possible. If it's expensive (about 20 000 dollars only for the engine), benefits are stupendous, it releases a mere 380 hp without turbo or compressor with a scheme amount to 10 000 rpm, which can easily reach the 450 horses for models race and, for a total weight of less than 300 pounds. Thus, a machine exceeds the standard ratio of 1 horse per kg with full, which seems a staggering three places ... So if you hear the sound of a DTM car and you see a V1 sail on the pond of Berre (near Marseille), do not panic ... is the European Champion jet Franky Zapata training for the Karujet! Certainly, this mythical race continues to be part of the history of the jet, with the first four-stroke racing offshore driven Clugage Mac and now the first V8 to compete with a former winner of Oleron flying. Although the production of certain organs and shell is started, except this model (called MZR) will not be commercialized before 2011 officially in its final version and is reserved for the moment the competition. But if Zapata demonstrates when Karujet all the good that we think of this remarkable jet, its order book may well exceed all expectations this year ... This is probably the most exciting project of the year, we will of course follow very closely, especially since the first tests on the water are provided in a week ...

sorry for any mistakes, its translated from french to english...
More info & pictures will follow from Malte!!!!!!
    Enjoy...

2600 cc, the new lightweight crank design has show a increase of 6 % in HP compared to the peak hp of 2 multiply Hayabusa engines

with aftermarket CAMshaft and new 2010 suzuki topblock there is a solid 450 HP at the crank at 9600 RPM

no pictures for puplic at the moment, but the prototype is ready ,

the complete ski is only 290 kg the topdeck and hood is from the RA FZ2000, bottom hull is 80 % ULTRA but a lot faster

the pump is a 170 mm prototype made from ZAPATA RACING

( the ski with the new bottem hull is a the same waterspeed level as the new S3 hull, but with the rough water handling of a Kawasaki Ultra.
( everyone seen Graig Warners boat at the WF know what i seak about)

there will also be a drag racing version of the boat , big bore 3200 CC biturbo dyno has show 850 HP at crank
( conservative topspeed calculation of 110-115 mpH )

there is 8 (450 HP) units available in 2010, price can be ask with PM or email, only serious buyer, sorry no greenhulk coupon
