    Equipment Storage Solutions...

Good day people of Earth. I recently got a VHF radio for xmas and have been searching for a way to store it. My ski has very limited storage so the front compartment and the glove box are my only options. I didn't want to put the radio in the front compartment because I ride rough waters and it would bounce around and get damaged. From what I have read, its also safer to have it on your person and not in the ski. I ordered a couple of tactical pouches that is used for the military so it can suit my purpose. Here is the link http://www.opticsplanet.net/511-tactical-pouches.html . These pouches have a velcro and a buckle fastener in front and on the back there are 2 straps with button fasteners, makes it easy to hook up to the straps of your lifevest. Hopefully this info can help someone else, it took me a while to come up with this and I couldn't find anything on the forum addressing this issue. If I placed this post in the wrong section, I apologize. Feel free to move it wherever mod monkeys.

What names are these pouches listed under on the website and what are their dimensions?

The pouches I got were the gps/strobelight and the H2O carrier. They have other pouches specifically for radios but the only thing that holds them down is a cord. I rather have a sturdy buckle so thats why I went with the H2O carrier. I'm not sure about the dimensions, but the GPS pouch fits my camera (olympus s/w 850) or my gps (garmin etrex vista hcx) the gps barely fits though. The other pouch fits my radio with lots of room to spare, I just cut a hole at the top to run the antenna through.
