    estimate on hull damage

    this is my uncles 3d,

    ran over so logs in the river and not a fun day at the lake. i would like to get it as back to normal as possible so im thinking about a professional job. here are some pics.

    I dont know as i wasent there. but yes, thank god no one was hurt. other than the damage shown nothing esle really is wrong with it. just the steering bracket needs to be replaced.

    i believe the hull still holds water, but still...

    am i loooking at over 1 grand to repair this?

    Re-gelcoat the entire bottom or go get some marine tex and spend a day counting your losses.

    I would say be prepared to pay close to a grand, if your going to do it right...That boats out of commision for the rest of the season it looks like!...PR...

    Do you have insurance?

    Should be around $1k. I will have to pay $964 for mine, but it was not as bad as this. But Im getting the true hull done at the same time so...

    Put insurance on it and make the claim 3 weeks later.... Make sure you get the lowest deductible possible.....
