    Removing pover valves on my 1200

    Hey all, this is properly a silly question, i'm trying to remove my power valves from my old barrels but i cant seem to get them out?? I have got the shaft out and the little alen key bolt out but then what do i tap the pin out sideways?? If so it seems very firm any help would be great cheers jason

    There is a jamb screw at the base that needs to be removed. Item #13

    Thanks but i have that out and it still does nt wasnt to slide out do that brass sleave/bush the powervalve runs thru stay in the barrel??

    The bushing will stay attached to the valve stem.

    Cheers for the help. So are they alway tight as i was tapping it with a mallet but ir didnt move .

    Spray some carburator cleaner around the barrel and stem 2 or 3 times and let it sit for a while to help loosen up the crud then try again!
