Thread: Custom Turbo

I have decided to go down a different path for now and i have changed my mind again!
It has a full Billet core and is not something you can just buy off the shelf
This turbo is oil cooled only and is pretty close to garrett's GT3071R but will spool alot quicker because of the billet wheel etc.
Comes with a 0.63 rear turbine housing.
Will sell it for 2k.

Amazing turbo! Oil cooled only?

Yeah the builder of the turbo recommended to make it oil cooled only as he doesnt want salt water running through any turbo. Salt water and heat dont mix.
He has done a few for jetskis and with it being oil cooled is no problem at all.
I wanted it to be both oil and water but he said its way overkill.
I thought the other plus was all this talk of low oil temps should be easily solved by running oil through the turbo for cooling.
