    Efi pump in 1200 tank

I have a 1200 tank and I want to put a efi pump in it. I am thinking to cut it. Is it possible, anybody tried this before? Thanks

The efi tank is raised in the bottom and has a bowl for the bottm of the fuel pump to sit in... The 1200 tank does not. The pump will not have any support in the 1200 tank. It may work but it will be short lived.. A member tried to use a 1200 tank for a Gprxp and the pump broke...
