    speedfreeks bracket install question

Do most mount the intercooler to the upper bracket and then mount the bracket plus intercooler to the lower half already installed in the ski??

Im going to do this today and then fab up my piping. Once this is done Im going to remove it and do a bit more housekeeping before I put my thrull hull and blockoffs on.

    install...

first install the lower bracket that bolts to the 2 pump shoe bolts ( use a lil sealent on bolts)

then install the top tray and tighten the 3 bolts

screw the 1 bolt with washers into the intercooler on the side that will be the hardest to catch only anout 6-8 full turns you dont want to screw it in all the way

after the 1 bolt is in place conect the back water hose

now slide the intercooler into place then install the other bolt and tighten it all up.

if you have any more questions please give me a call 917 559-5744

    thanks, erik

wow, Thanks Erik, Im going to install the water hoses later on but I wanted to mount it for a bit so I can fab my two pipes. I have all the couplings but I will need to cut my pipes a bit.

Going to do the bleed mod to my XS today to. Off to lowes!!

    Thanks for the assistance!

Ocman, I am not trying to change what Eric stated, but i have removed my XS with speed freeks bracket several times, and I leave everything intake, and just remove the 2 pump bolts. It is a bit tricky but IMO is easiest way for me.
