    My TBSS 1/8 mile

Went to the 1/8 mile today with the trailblazer SS. In this video I fell asleep at the line and had to run the vette down. I spun alittle when I went the nitrous. Went 6.92 on a 1.72 60 ft. Need some better tires so I can spray right out of the hole.

Couldn't stay hooked on this pass, had to let out of it.

On a fresh bottle was too much for the little nitto drag radials, soon as I hit the nitrous it squated and then broke loose, 1.70 60ft.

Nittos are HORRIBLE at the track. You are really going to have to step up your burn out to get nittos to hook. They are great on the street but suck at the track, they've always been known for that.

I went 1.72 on my stock runflats in my vette.

Yes, doesn't look like I did much of a burnout, hard to tell in the video but I sat in one spot for a count of 4 seconds before I let off the brake and rolled out.

I agree on the nittos not hooking well but they are the only company that I know of that makes a 20" drag radial right now. I run them everyday on my stock 20" wheels.

Wish another company would step up and make a 20" drag radial. Don't want put smaller 18" wheels on the TBSS.

Is that the Long Beach, MS track???
I used to live in Long Beach, MS, back in the early to mid 90's. I thought the track got ripped up pretty good from Katrina.
I know my old house, that I sold my a nice profit(casino people), got washed into the ocean. I lived on Hwy 90, right across the street from the Mississippi Sound.

That track is in Irvington near Mobile, AL. Its only about 25 minutes from me. I'm from Pascagoula, MS

The only track I know of on the MS coast is in Gulfport 1/4 mile.

Yes lot of changes since Casinos, then again after Katrina.

Yea, I was there and voted for the Casinos', on the grounds that they specifically stated that they would "cut" them in half, and move them to the Biloxi back bay or partially "sink" them in the event of a major hurricane.

I flew into Gulfport, the day after Katrina, and where do you think those Casinos were?? Right on Hwy 90, which is what we didn't want to have happen.....they lied. They had plenty of time to move them, and not a single one complied with what they told the voters they would do.

My old house(which I sold in 96), was washed out to sea. I heard the people that bought it from me, made it out OK. A lot of nice houses were trashed along the gulf coast.
But, you never heard the people of the great state of Mississippi bitching about Fema this, and gimme that.
I have a lot of respect for those people. Lived there, and in Mobile, for over 5 years, and now, 15 years later, still can't get rid of the damn accent.

Never heard of that track your talking about.

Nice TBSS! How big of a shot do you run on it? We have one as well. I LOVE to surprise people with it. I have a short mod list, mostly done for a boost in gas mileage (at least thats what I tell my wife )
