That said, some (many?) of the listed parts are new.

It's nice to see businesses selling new and used Polaris watercraft parts. However, the prices have to be somewhat reasonable. It's kind of hard to make an offer on a part where it has a "Buy it now" price of $250 and the actual market price is more like $50. Complete Polaris skis (mostly not running but some are) can be purchased for less than the asking price for some of those parts.

I just rebuilt two 780 engines and if I can get those kind of prices for the parts, I think I'll part them out!

As stated before. prices need to be in line with the economy and demand. 180.00 for 1 used , old, 750 cylinder that probably needs honing or boring and rings, pin, clip, piston too. plus installation cost and gaskets. More like 25-35 each to me. 40.00 for a stock finger throttle housing?

heck for 50.00 i'll sell a flywheel, engine plate, and a used starter. Oh wait a min, thats 325.00 opps.lol

No wonder you said we have a TON of parts available.lol

They have a crank on there for $250. While not a bad price, I just have a nagging feeling that buying a used crank off ebay can't be good as you really don't know what you will really get until you got it. On persons perception of "quiet" bearings may be another persons pile of rust.

Well I have a long block here complete . looks new. spins new. awesome. until you grab the pto rod and feel where it catches the crank! Just a tad, but it's there. I paid 240.00 for it. The guy said the crank spins freely!. Never mentioned the PTO hangs up! Thanks---nice deal...... Otherwise, great deal for plate, stator, cover, bendix, inside cover, crank, rods. ete.. I guess rebuilt from a reputable company(sharps, watcon, or midwest is the way to go. Or new is the only way to really buy a good crank. and it's soooo important too. Might as well do it right the first time and be done with it.
