    06 single piper DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!

Had a mid range seize this morning. The good ol` #3 hole decided to jump ship on me.Watch your EFI settings real close.I almost 100% sure my #4 pot (transfer) was set too high and the low speed circuit didnt have enough fuel for the 5-6K rpm range.Sucked it dry! Those carbs are really sounding good right about now.

Woody that sucks. Looks like a pretty minor seizure. How does that ski run without powervalves?

Try this if all else fails. Check the prices compared to Riva's OEM parts finder.

WTf do you need a new cylinder for? Acid wash that one with pool acid. Run a light ball hone 2 times oil it up and get back on the water!

Joe,there is a couple small spots that are dimpled in the Nic.
Spud,it runs just shy of 74 @ 4100' (6684 corrected feet) that day.It ran 71.2 with a seized hole.! It is a light sieze though.Could have been worse.

I did sand 95% of the marks out but there are 2 real small spots were the Nic got chipped out.Very small spots.Im tempted to just throw a new piston in it and run but my luck,it will catch one of those holes on a ring or create a hot spot.

The 8.5 on the transfer was the killer. I had the low speed fuel stretched out way too far and it ran out of fuel in the middle.
