R&D SHO High Flow Exhaust Kit

Has anyone fitted this kit? If so, is there any noticeable drone at low - mid revs?

    Thanks

yes, and after riding for a few hours... your ears will ring... btw... I had the R&D kit... not the best of designs.... the Riva exhaust kit is much better and a cleaner design... although just as loud.

If anyone can assure me tht I wouldn't lose significant performance I would change my FF Exhaust back to stock in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I completely hate the drone.

I did notice increased throttle response and low end when installing but I also installed the intake mani upgrade so I'm not sure which gave me the most increase.

But I am very close to returning to stock!!!!

I can assure you that you will lose performance. I measured the gains of adding the free flow over the Riva power filter and intake manifold upgrade. Expect those gains to "go away" by putting the stock exhaust back on.

Sounds like rear exhaust is about the only cure for the drone.

The flaps help some. Unfortunately,The R&D ride plates don't have the mounting bosses for the rubber flaps at bottom. So the flaps just push in.

Wait til you get 2 sho's with freeflows side by side at 3000rpm for a cruise. It feels like something from a scanners movie. You can feel your head throb.
