    Help with vts

    hey guys my vts keeps playing up it just goes up and down on its own and i have a big ride day tommorrow just wondering is there a way i can bring the vts down and keep it there

    Sounds like problem I had, turned out it was a loose wire in plug of MPEM. I had to unplug VTS motor and I just hooked a 9V battery to the motor leads. Reverse polarity to go up or down. Once I found the short, I plugged it back up and it worked fine.

    There is a big fat flat connector coming off of the VTS to the wiring harness. I would check it for water intrusion, connected properly, etc.

    You can also set your vts then uplug at this connector and trouble shoot later.
