    927cc Waveblaster 800

    Well,
    here's the start of my waveblaster 800 project.
    Bought the ski in bits, and it was/is a total basket case.
    Have stripped and cleaned the hull, put it to one side and am getting near to finishing the engine build.
    It's having a complete new engine starting with a new crank and a ported big bore top end from Lowell.
    Ski pictures as bought.

    Is the Blaster 800 hull more like the size and weight of the Blaster 1 hull or the Blaster 2 hull?

    Id say more like the blaster 2-but ive never seen a blaster 2.
    ive had a few blaster 1, and it handles a bit like that, but ive decided to go with the 800 because you can just about sit on it on the sea without it tipping overwhen my old body needs a rest! with the blaster1 I had to jump off and lie in the sea tied to the bloody thing for a break!

    I LOVE 927's!!!!! What are you going to do for carbs, ignition and exhaust????? You got any c/f pieces for it? Love the Project! keep us posted

    Its closer in size to a blaster 2..

    But infinitely better..!!
    Don't know what Yamaha where thinking with the Blaster 2's..???

    The Blaster 3 is arguably the best of them all..
    Though someone who can ride a Blaster 1 to its full potential would likely stick with a B1..??

    Anyway Simon good to see pictures and hear of progress..
