    New Found Speed- Cooler Weather?

Just sent a dynafly into Speedfreaks to be repitched from a 23 to a 24. I gained .7-.8 mph, but my rpms stayed the same. Could the cooler weather have caused this? My rpms are still 7240-50. Should I have it repitched further to try to get the rpms in the correct range? Thanks.

What is your weather? You want to set up the impeller and jetting for worst conditions.

Jet it for your coolest riding temperature and put an impeller in there that gets you 7100 rpm's in 100°. Then don't worry about it. Or have two impellers and change the jetting as conditions change.

The weather has changed in the last couple of weeks. 60's in the morning, down from upper 70's. Will this cause that much of a differnce? The water temp is now 80, rather than 86. I would like to see what it will do, but don't want to suffer next summer. If I am running 7250 now, what will a pitch to 25 bring it down to and also, what would I lose in the summer? I always run in the early mornings.

That kind of change in RAD can easily account for the mph change. But Spud is right, two props is really the way to go. I have two for cool and hot weather.
