    Neat little siphon hose

Not too long ago we were hiking in the Grand Canyon near Havasupai Falls. There was an Indian tribal guy there who was siphoning gas out of his truck into a gas can. He was using a clear plastic hose that had some kind of ball bearing inside of it towards the end of the hose going into the gas can. All he did was shake the end of the hose up and down a bit with the ball bearing and it instantly began siphoning gas out of his truck tank. Do you have any idea where I could buy one of these hoses? I have checked at the local auto parts store and they have never heard of it. They wanted me to let them know when I DO find it though; everyone wants one. Any idea? Thanks

I have had one since 1993 when I bought my first ski. Called a Super Siphon back then. Got it at Academy.

I too had trouble finding one. I purchased mine online for something like three times what you can get them for at Harbor Freight.

Coolest thing. Use mine all the time--especially with these new spouts on the cans. WTF's up with them--they suck!

Went straight to Bass Pro Shop just down the freeway from me, picked it up and drained my tank in no time. It only took 5 hours to fish the little seal cap out of my SHO tank! The trick is taking as much gas out as you possibly can but leaving just enough to let the little wafer bounce around in the tank. I will. NEVER. do. that. again!! Thanks for the help
