    Honeing 66v motor?

Is this ok to do hone the nickel coated bore? i have raised the comp by shaving my head but the comp is still slowly dropping. i have done a rebuild about 15 hours ago with wsm pistons and ring but did not touch the bore and i think i have glazed the rings cause they have never been the same as the first set.
Should i pull the engine apart and hone the bore? can i reuse the rings?
    Should i buy new rings?

The Nikasil needs to be diamond honed to be done properly. and new rings would definitely need to go in a fresh hone. Lowell Horning has a Sunen hone and is fairly inexpensive for a clean-up hone. If it needs more then a touch up it should be re-plated.

Ok got motor in bits looks ok but found number one cyclinder(at the front of ski) hiting the power vavle just. Will have to look into it a bit more. Is a bottle brush hone ok to use?
Im going to polish my exhaust ports up is this ok to do?

The bottle brush type tend to eat into the ports and are very aggressive. remember the plating is thin if you wear through it has to re-plated.

Polishing the exhaust port is fine, no real gains from it though.
