    A real Chevy guy

    Every Chevrolet convertible since 1912.

This collection belongs to Dennis Albaugh in Ankeny Iowa (just north of Des Moines), what do you think it's worth? .

This personal & private collection consists of 110 + Chevy convertibles, all years from 1912 to 1975 & Corvette convertibles from 1953 to 1975.

That is a chevy convertible from every year og manufacture except 1939. The reason? - Chevy didn't make a convertible in 1939 & ended it's convertible line in 1975!.

He is what you call a REAL Chevy guy.

Not that the pic above represent the whole collection but the Chevelle line up is short.

    I see a 64, 65, 66, 67, 68(or 69), 70, 71, and 72.

Missing 3 years.(Chevelle production went from 64-74 year models)

Those pics are good but don't do the collection justice.
On certain days he allows people in to view the cars for a donation to charity.
Guy made his money selling and manufacturing Ag chemicals/weed killer etc.
Oh yeah, I am pretty sure he is not missing any years of any chevy manufactured in convertible form as those pics don't show the whole collection. He might be missing some of chevy's duds though

The crazy thing is, I work with these types of chemicals everyday and these chemicals are so generic that I havent even heard of them. I guess the real money is in generic chemicals I need to switch industries

Sometimes it's being in the right place at the right time.

Doug, be sure to take more snap shoots when you visit and fill in the gap of the Chevys that are missing in the above pics.
