Unless you ride in rough water alot. I wouldnt do it. I stay pretty dry on my PX. I put one on a 1996 GTI I had a few years ago, wasnt to bad to install.

I wouldnt recommend one IMO.
If you do wave jumping etc they eventually just rip right off from water slamming under them.
Not much difference without one IMO.

if you ride in alot of chop, its way better.
If you put it on correctly,it'll stay on.there's a how to thread on installing(it's kind of a pain in the ass on the SD's)especially if its a heavy duty one. There's not much of a lip there to work with.

Im thinking about getting one. hate the look but it gets ruff and hard to see cause of the spray.

I've never owned a ski without one, and personally like the way they look. Be careful if you ever park your ski on a jet dock though I had to replace one due to that.
