Thanks guys, but I gotta give credit where it's due. Richie and Ronnie made the original and I just prettied it up a little.

When you convert to the pissers, you loose the thermostat. Should that be a concern when riding in colder water? I moved from FL to VA and the water temps being so much colder make me wonder about loosing the thermostat and riding in the colder water.

What do you guys think? I see lots of people doing the conversion.

    Nice job! Looks great.

OOOOoooOOOO Diggin it!! I want to make one of these soo bad. need to fix my crank first. How would you flush that? 3 separate tubes that connect to the pissers on the outside?

I think the water has to be pretty dang cold to cause any problems (like low 40's it think). I trashed my tstat and never had any issues in mid 50's- high 40's. Just takes a little bit longer to warm up.

Running without the thermo. is not a problem. In the really cold water, you should do a good warmup, but in reality, we should be doing that all the time.

Flushing's not a problem either with one of Randy's (Wat-Con) backflushers.

I ride on Lake Superior at least once or twice a year....warmest water temp around 40 degrees. Never had a single problem in over ten years without a thermostat. Like CrazyA said, just idle and warm it up before hitting the gas.
