    Talking FZR/FZS on a budget!

Air intake mod, Free flow exhaust, R&D Intake grate w/ stuffer, VX ride plate, R&D R1 ecm mod, stock prop or after market prop repitched to 8100 rpm's max. should be a easy 75-76+ mph ski without any problems IMO, The reprograming of the ecm to up the boost and rpm's is going to open up these ski's just watch and you will see! Tommy- I remember reading somewhere placing the R&D grate as far back as possible would achieve the best results. Could you explain this

Yep, thats what I am aiming for too. I think its a nice rec friendly setup that can be run all day long with no problems. Just have to figure out the prop and we should be all set. Best thing is it should be around $1000 bucks for the package and a great performer.
I think 76-77mph topend will be achievable.

Just hope R&D have a sensible price for the ECU reflashes.

Do you need to run the Free Flow is the OEM set up ok to run with higher boost engines and ecu changes.

The prop pitch will have to be worked out because you will have a addational 300-400 rpm's available to use. It may not thake that tall of pitch prop. I am not sure just how much boost the oem sc wheel can make at 8100 rpm's my guess is 9 psi or so. I guess when these reprogramed ecm's are in the owners hands we will see what pitch is required. This boost limiter and rpm limiter has shut out a easy 30-40 hp on these skis. I supect we will see a couple of different pitches needed for this setup depending on the weather of your riding area, cooler low humidity locations will us a taller pitch than the hot humid locations I am sure.
