I had the prototype on my ski, and did extensive testing with it. You don't hear anything. But, it really saves wear and tear on the clutch washers. You don't gain, or lose, any power.
I liked it. After 80 hours, by clutch washers were still well within specs for slippage, and even at 100 hours, they did not need to be replaced. I would estimate they could have gone another 50 hours.
However, I always follow the manufacturers recommendations, and had my S/C rebuilt with new bearings and washers at around 100 hours, even though it didn't need it.

I'm allways afraid of boostleaks with the blow off valves.

But honestly i must say i did never run one, with the higher boost superchargers,it may safe the slippage on the clutch, butt still you install a possible boost leak = loss of performance.

Never seen one of these leak. They're Bosh Valves, and they run them in cars all the time. I think they're pretty reliable.

Don't know anything about the Riva BOV. The poster was asking about the R&D BOV....and I tested the crap out of it. I ran around with the rear seat off (RXT-X), and basically did everything I could to it, to make it break or leak, and it worked like a champ.

Keep in mind, that pretty blue hose is super expensive to make, and is hand wrapped, and hand formed. It's really a nice fit.

Did sea-doo pay to have your pump tunnel repaired? And is it still holding? I have a RXT-X with some hairline cracks, Im planning to take it to the dealer for pictures so they can send them in to sea-doo. I taked to sea-doo and they said to start from there first.
