    Timing Chain sprocket on Crankshaft

Has anyone come up with a method or source to replace the crankshaft sprocket that is damaged when the timing chain breaks.

According to my service manual the crank must be replaced if there is damage to the gear. It must all be on peice and the gear non removable. Looks like u need a crank

It looks like the gear and the sprocket are heated and dropped onto a cooled crankshaft for a interference fit.Possible could press them off but without a source for replacments that would not do much good.
    Any used 2006 crankshafts available?
