Quick Trip to Fort Lauderdale
I have to make a quick trip to Ft. Lauderdale for business, but will have some time for fun. I am thinking of renting a PWC down there. Anybody know the area? Any suggestions? The lake I ride on can get pretty rough so I am really looking forward to riding down there...I have never been on the ocean. I am going around the 18th of February - cant beat a free trip to Florida from Chicago
I am staying at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort and will not have a car. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

Been on Lake Geneva several times, long time ago. Old stomping grounds.
Enjoy your trip down here.

I am just going to come down and hope for good weather and see where it takes me.
Someone told me of a place called Aloha Watersports, I am going to check them out, too.

Hey, just wanted to thank everyone for your comments. I had a GREAT time on Saturday, it finally warmed up. I rented a ski in Pompano Beach and had a fabulous time. You Florida folks are so lucky - I came home and saw my ski, winterized and covered up, Chicago winters suck.
It was so great to get out on the waters, I loved every second. You all will laugh, a manatee came swimming up next to me while I was chillin for a sec, almost scared the crap out of me. I am not a Florida girl and saw Jaws too many times. It was pretty funny.
Anyhow, the Westin on the beach was heaven and I had a great time.

I took a lot but none on the ski - bummer to be there alone, usually I can count on the husband to take pics.
