    crank seals and main

    hi all. ive had genesis 1200 1999. crank, rebuilt had new, rods pins, bearings. on return. noticed one of the main bearings has been fitted with a slip ring on one of the bearings. been told latter cases were grooved for slip ring. as mind is an early one with no groove in case, been told just take the slip ring off . dose this sound right !!!!!. do i put any retaining stuff loctite on the main bearing before seating it cases.!!!!!!! the crank case seal in the fly wheel housing do i put any sealer on it before fitting !!!!!!!!
