    10 hr service help

My skis just hit 9 hours and I want to go ahead and take them in for their 10 hour service before the dealership gets busy and has my ski for a week.

I want to take the ski in because I have a warranty and I just like having the paperwork/proof that I did the service when it comes to warranty issues.

I called my dealership that I bought the skis from and he said it would be around 274 per ski...so approx 550 for both skis...is this expensive?
He said they do everything that the manual asks...basically going over the entire ski

    What you guys think

I think the dealer is full of S***.
Many threads about how changing the oil yourself will not void the warranty. Keep your receipts for the supplies and you will still be ok. If you must get someone to do it, just call all the dealers until you find one to do it cheaper. Get with WFO. I bet he is a fraction of that cost. I don't think he can clear the maintenance code, but that is no big deal anyway.

    Ditto on both above:

(But you might want to post this in the 4Tec/SeaDoo thread. You'll prob. get more feed back there.) I think most of what you're going to pay for is an oil change and a "look under the hood". AND maybe clearing a code. You can change the oil yourself and save half the money and that includes the first time purchase of the oil extractor kit.

That would be perfect WFO...but my only question is according to my warranty does it have to be done by a seadoo mechanic?

I will have to call BRP and ask them...hopefully I can just use you..
