where did you hear this? I like the 3cyl 4-tec for its lighter weight, not a big fan of the bigger skis. hope that the current rxp isnt the last of the "small" skis. The current motor really is a great motor and cant see BRP spending money to build a new motor in a crappy market. And if they did im guessing they would of done it when the made the new model line up and not a year after, just my 2 cents and i also could be wrong still have to wait for the new 2011 RXP to come out

OH if BRP did make a new motor itll take them 5 years to work out all the issues lol....

    I like the 3cyl 4-tec too!

3cyl is better then 4cyl, because 3 pistons are a lot easyer than 4, and the engine turns faster up!

Guys i like the 3 cylinder too, BUT think of the power that will be able to be made with a 4 cylinder 2.0. With a bit of boost and a computer the yami guys are making close to 350hp out of a 1.8. Im not sure if its coming in 2011 but if not it will definitely be 2012. Just think a new RXP hull and a new engine to go with it!! Im excited.

I think that BRP will incorporate the learnings over the years from the inception of the 2003 4-tec and try to eliminate most of the issues.
I will be looking forward to the new engine. Continuous improvement is important in this industry
