    Help... Motor might be or is locked???

    The ski is a 2000 GP1200R, The ski has been sitting for awhile since June or July. I charged the battery and tried to start it but all I get is big clunk and the motor is torquing over but no turning over. Seems to me that it is locked. I didnt prepare it for winter so I'm accepting ass kicking that I will be giving my self if something is costly wrong. I did check the pump area and nothing is binding it. I PV motor is not cycling nor do I get anything on the display. All fuses are good. If the motor is locked, Where do I start and in what order? Pulling the heads (R & D heads)????? Is there anything else I can check? It did sound like it turned over half a turn but that is it.. TIA

    pull the pump -it might be whats locked

    the impeller wear rings are known to blister outward causing the impeller to drag

    I would remove the pump and try to turn the motor by hand

    if it still wont turn, pull the heads and have a peek inside
