    2001 800 xlt ????

    I have a chance to get a 2001 800 xlt for only 2000.00 It has about 40 hours and is in very mint shape... No trailer
    Is this a good deal ?
    What is it really worth?
    how fast will it go ideal conditions... 200 lb rider

    2000 sounds good for a 40 hour ski
    top speed around 50mph is likely
    For perspective I just parted out a 2002 XLT800 and sold the hull for 1000.
    Like the 1200 and 1300 motors you need to do the powervalves and switch to premix 40 to 1. Ski handles well, although mine always felt underpowered.
    Very easy to work on and maintain, plus cheap to own as it went forever on a tank of gas.
