According to the blue books this is a good deal...just average 2000 GP1200R's list for $4k...so that's $8k right there and the trailer is worth at least $1k. If they are in tip top shape as stated...total would be at least $9.5k worth.

Guys cut him some slack and look at the pics. I checked out his ebay auction as well and both skis look PERFECT. Granted $3500 per ski plus $1k for the trailer (or however you want to slice it) seems high when compared to the $2700 GPR you saw somewhere once on the back of some homemade trailer!!!!! but I am 100% sure that the ski for $2700 was not in mint condition. Also this is an ideal setup for someone who wants to get into the sport and have two matching skis. For some (I am in this group) that is a good thing. Also realize that the price has to start somewhere So rather than busting his balls make him an offer or MOVE ON. I would have loved to have had a chance to buy these last year before I got my other three GP1200Rs. For all the money I will have in them I could have had these skis and been on the lake last summer rather than trying to make mine as nice as these already are.

Another tip to the OP..... Try selling these on Craigslist if you haven't already. Spring is around the corner and you will get less static from the peanut gallery.

This is a sweet deal to me. I would love to find a deal like this only a little closer. Being in South Texas Chicago is a little far but GLWS
