    package works

    I finally installed most of fercho's package ,did it to the letter, went 73mph gps 518 ft altitude and 88 deg.......my lake is slow for some reason..a friends 73.3 ski only ran 70.3 at this slow lake..but anyway im happy my ski is finally running ,really pulls hard out of the hole( with spinning prop), no porpous,great handeling,and very fast. Thanks fercho

    my first gps run 2003 gp1300r bone stock was 60.3 , isnt that pethetic. Fercho is getting me the correct prop so that i can hit my target speed of 75.

    I agree, I had great results with the package. Just picked my ski up from Jim's shop. I have a Riva Stage 2 with TJ porting, was running right at 72.8 with a full tank of gas, ran in in the am, temp was about 80. After Jim put the J plate on, changed the Riva Trim Tabs and modified the stock sponsons, he hit 75.7 with a full tank, temp was near 90. I would think when the temps drop and the water cools off, with low gas I would gain about 2 mph's plus.

    I dont think that you got the package. With the package and TJ porting you should be contemplating 78-79 MPH.
