    No boost !!!

    hey guys, my little baby had no boost this weekend

    i have a rude charger i did pull the air intake pipe off to see if i could spin the charger wheel by hand and i could, when its like that does that mean the clutch has gone ?

    Yup im afraid.

    Just hope you are luckey and the clutch is just slipping and has not blown itself to bits. I was luckey with my cluch it just had zero tension but stayed in 1 piece, I hope this is the case for you. R88

    Yep sounds like the clutch has given out for one reason or another.you need to pull the SCer and see if the clutches are still intacked or not..

    i could spin the charger wheel by hand and i could
    when u say spin it do u meen it will just spin freely, or has some resistance?

    yeah she was spining freely.

    i need some help here guys i am looking on the 4-tecperformane web site for a rebuild kit for the rude charger which one do i go for ?

    and i would have thought with the metal clutch washers that they would have stayed in one piece?

    i get to do the oil jet upgrade ..if you do need to go in and fined the pieces do it while you are there...i did mine and found out about the oil jet thing a week later now i get to do it again.

    thanks for your help guys, now if i was going to change my ECU for more rmp which one would u go for and if i do replace the ECU do i need to then do any engine mods like valves or springs ? coz if thats the case ill prob just leave the stock ECU in there.

    IF i were to go with an ECU i would go with the Riva.Just my preference because it still has the knock sensor and not such a tight fuel/timing curve.As far as what is needed???You WILL need to either put the LesCooke Retainers in or the Riva valve spring upgrade..
