1997 gp1200 dying out
I have a 97 GP1200 with 120 hours the last time i took it out the engine started fine and seemed to be running fine until i gave it full throttle, it started to take off like it should but around 40 mph. it began to bog down until the engine died out. when i went to start the engine the starter made a clicking noise like the battery was low.(at the time the battery was new) after about 5 minutes the engine started like normal but any throttle applied would cause engine to lose power and want to die out.
I idled back to the trailer charged battery over night when i tried to take the waverunner out the next day the problem returned. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I hate to say it but you stuck a piston. The only other explanation might be something in the pump but thats not likely.

At the time i checked the pump it was clear... when you say stuck piston are you saying i need to rebuild the engine?
