Thread: rear air?

    rear air?

is the riva rear air better than the regular 4'' intake?

This has been debated many times. Do a search.

    just my opinion.....

in my opinion i feel it works better as long as you run the riva rear air without the red pre-filter.

Erik/Speedsmoke is CORRECT about the red cloth as he told me about it and it helps when removed from the Riva rear intake.......... BUT.......IMO my TORNADO blows the Riva out of the water....HANDS DOWN..... my 4" x 8" rear intake opening with a 4" 90 degree silicone coupler hooked up to a modified Riva plastic air intake coupler and modified seat cowling makes my combination with the "TORNADO" rear intake the REAL DEAL with the largest area of space available to draw air from directly at the charger inlet as well as the rear intake tube size increased volume and intake draw opening size being 4" x 8" ...............PERIOD!

thats the ONLY way i would run my 4" kanoflex intake..........theres NO REAL reason to put a filter on any air intake for these boats IMO if u one set them up correctly or ride them as they need to be ridden with certain air intake systems( no spin outs with rear intake)......and dont have small parts flying around inside your boat that shouldnt be flying around in there.........hahahahahahahaha.....BINGO DINGO!!!!!!!

i run a 4 inch front air as well ...no filter.... mine goes in the tube that runs up and comes out the front of the seat below the gove box if you will..so it gets fresh air.

agree on the water no dirt dust ect..no filter needed
