    PWC TITLE

Does anyone know which states that do not require a title or registration of a jet ski?

    Thanks,

Ma. is pretty easy to register a pwc, no need for a title or registration from the seller, just a bill of sale

    1. Bill of Sale (name and address of seller).
    2. Proof of payment of sales tax (ST-6, ST-6E, or Bill of Sale). Note: To pay your sales tax online, visit the Department of Revenue website at https://wfb.dor.state.ma.us/WebFile/...axDefault.aspx
    3. Pencil tracing of hull ID number (serial number). ***
    4. Required fees - (See fee schedule below)
    5. Properly completed and signed application.
If a new boat is purchased from a registered boat dealer or department store, a copy of the "Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin" (MSO) is required. (See notes regarding MSOs below)

i am pretty sure you need the the registation.. you can call the guy you bought it from and have him go too the dmv and request a new registartion and have him tell the dmv that he lost his he will need the vin number and the year make and model... i had too do this when sold my old sl hull last week. i lost the regi and went to dmv and it cost me $2 and they give it too you right then.. thats the way i know how too do it..

but there might be a way around that.. as long as the ski was not reported stolen..if i find a way around just having a bill of sale i will let you know..

the above is what you would do if your registering it in new york state... but if your registering it in a diffrent state.. it could be diffrent and might need less or more.. every state is diffrent
