    Need a little help please...

    I need a little help please. ’04 GTX-SC 3-seater couch, 66 hours.

At 30 hours I was running 64-64 mph on the ski speedo, rpm not available. (Yep, not accurate.)

I installed Riva Blow off valve.
I installed Riva Power Filter and my dealer installed the metal washers.

Speed went down to 56.4 on gps @7250. (57-58 on ski speedo)
I was disappointed with this. I know I should be getting more with the filter.
Could the washers be installed wrong?

I tore up my impeller and wear ring with rocks.
Replaced ring and impeller with Solas 13/20R, added a 2.25 wedge, Riva OPAS Competion Kit, Riva gate. All installed carefully per Jerry’s instructions. Installation went fine.

My speed now is 57.4 - 58.6 on gps @ 7250 rpm (59-60 on speedo).

Shouldn’t I get more from this setup. After reading the gains you fellows get here I am disappointed in my results. I wanted 65…

Shouldn’t the ski run up at least 8100 rpm’s.

Appreciate your comments…it’s fast but not as fast as I hoped,
Pluses, hole shot is unbelievable with the new prop and ring.

your ski will only run 7600-7650 rpms at it's peak performance

13/20 may be too much pitch for your mods... i know riva recommends a 12/20 with their GTX SC stage 1

how is acceleration? improved or kinda laggish?

i'd say 1 of two things.... supercharger needs shims for proper torque specs or the prop is not yet dialed in with the correct pitch.

I've had the metal washers installed just 10 hours ago.
Acceleration is super....I have to really hold on.

    Shibby is correct
You need an ECU to get that couch to 8100 R`s...PR...

Where, what do need to get an ECU? Will it give me the speed I am looking for? Will I have to do other mods also?

i dont think u need an ECU personally, that's not what i was saying... was just clarifying that ur stock ECU is not capable of 8100 like an RXP/T

if u wish to attain 65 mph, it should be feasible with your stock ECU no problem... the setup to run 63-64 is already there, we just gotta find wtf is messed up

it COULD be the SC needing a shim

there's definitely 2-3 mph left in the rpms your missing.

your blow off valve could be leaking?

I'm in the same situation. 04 GTX SC 22 hrs. Installed Riva cold air kit, Riva wedge, Riva Bent Concord impeller, stock grate and opas blocked up. 62.5 @ 7500 RPM's.
Now I did suck a rock before I GPS'd it. I got lucky just a ding on one trailing edge, bent it back tonight, new wear ring.

Got 63.8 on GPS last season @ 7650 RPM's stock with block ups.
I think it's in the impeller.

Blow off valve comes off tomorrow...and I'll see.
    Ride plate holes filled...
I guess I'll have to pull the SC and check the torque on the nut. 10 hours with new metals should still be in good shape.
