    Riva SHO "Rear" FF Exhaust

For your info, Riva are currently working on some prototypes and are hoping to have the final product released by late March early April. They don't have the pricing on this yet as they have not gone into full production and are not sure on the production costs.

Riva suggested I check back with them toward the middle or end of March and they should have some solid info for us SHO owners.

Hey looks nice Rip .....what was the hull like to cut ? what did you use ?So 1 of the tiedowns needs adjusting ...one could use the hole that is still there and go horizontal from it for the next and reuse the tiedown ..just asking .

Sorry if that's been said .

    cheers

Will this completly eliminate the drone? I know it will give a more throaty sound and probably loouder, but if the drone is gone completely I may look into this..........although I am trying to cut down on my ski spending in 2010

When i put the thru hull exhaust on my FZR the drone was gone. The drone is caused by sound bouncing around in the pump tunnel.

I was a bit disappointed as the thru hull was not as loud as I hoped it would be. It sounds real good and clean though. You will like it.

those of us running with the rive freeflow! if we cutoff the flaps that are on the exhaust opening would that make a difference in the sound and or performance?

Gordon, on my SHO i had the flaps off and there was drone.

On my FZR when i first ran the free flow i left the flaps on thinking this would help, it did not.

This was the original inspiration for Bruce to build the rear exhaust on the FZR/FZS by the way my name is Julio.

we have been talking about a rear exhaust for a long time...and the sea doo guys have been running rear exhaust for a while...
why do you think that your exhaust is the inspiration??
