    Flushing the riva open loop????

Any tips on flushing the riva open loop.I pored a bit of soap in the flush hose and then plugged it in and had nice suds coming out of the pump and other outlets.Thought Salt away or Dawn would work similar.Any thoughts....

    Yeah.
Be quick about it. You don't want to overheat your driveshaft seal. Chances are, you'll burn it up before you have any salt water issues.

I used Dawn even before I decided to go with the Riva OL with good results. There are threads on here and elsewhere stating Dawn is the same as Salt Away. Like hydrotoys said be careful about running to long with carbon seal. I am not sure how long is to long though.
